At Red Gum BBQ, this season is about more than feasting—though, don’t get us wrong, we’re big fans of that too. It’s about gathering around a table and recognising what matters most: connection, generosity, and the simple magic of sharing a meal with those you love.
But not every family has the privilege of a Christmas table filled with food and laughter. That’s where Helping Hams comes in.
What is Helping Hams?
This December, we’re proud to continue our Meaty Impact by putting purpose into practice. Through our Helping Hams initiative, for every free-range ham or turkey you purchase, we’ll donate another to a family in need in our local community. It’s a simple idea—you buy one, we give one—but its impact is real and far-reaching.
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Western Port Community Support and Frankston Community Support to ensure that families doing it tough this Christmas can enjoy a beautiful, free-range holiday feast.
How to Get Involved

2️⃣ Give Back – Every purchase automatically donates a holiday feast to a family who needs it most.
