Red, White & ‘Cue
The Whole Hog Hoedown
Red Gum BBQ’s 4th of July Bash — Friday, July 4th
Gather your people and come hungry – Red Gum BBQ is serving up its annual 4th of July celebration, and this year it’s bigger, smokier, and saucier than ever.
We’re talking whole hog. Revealed and carved live by Pitmaster Martin himself at 6:30pm. It’s a spectacle of smoke, sizzle, and Southern-style showmanship.
American expats and curious foodies—come one, come all. This is a party not to be missed.
🎟 Early bird tickets are on sale!
$55 for adults / $25 for kids – only until Sunday June 15.
Prices increase to $59 for adults and $29 for kids after that, so don’t sleep on it.
For adults, this gets you:
→ Whole Hog, straight from the pit
→ Classic Southern sides: mac n cheese, pit beans, slaw, pickles, rolls
→ Dreamy S’mores pie for dessert
→ Live music to move to
→ Line dancing lessons to scoot to
→ A welcome like no other—with plenty of napkins and Southern charm
→ A chance to win a $100 Red Gum BBQ voucher (yes, seriously)
Kids eat like champs too! With homemade Southern fried chicken tenders, sides, and a smores pie finale
Want to upgrade your feast?
Add a rack of pork ribs (serves 2-4 people) or chicken wings for an all-out pitmaster’s plate.
Vegetarian? Don’t worry—you’ll be served your own plate. Just chuck it in the dietary notes when you book. We’ve also got buffalo cauliflower wings you can add on the day which bring the heat.
Behind the bar:
→ Kentucky Apple Pie Cocktails
→ Peach Margaritas
→ Raspberry Lemonade
→ Fine Mornington Peninsula wines, craft beers and ciders
And because we like to kick things off Southern-style, your table starts with snacks and the kind of vibe that says “you’re in good hands, darlin’.”
This isn’t just a meal. It’s a party.
It’s smoky. It’s loud. It’s sticky-fingered, toe-tapping. And it only happens once a year.
